In 2016, I spent a few weeks in Borgarfjörður eystri, a small village in East Iceland, drawing. I drew people, workplaces, mountains, school kids playing bingo, fish factory staff at work, cheese platters at birthday gatherings, old farmers, stories told, the church, shop staff climbing through a window having lost their key, etc etc etc. It became a book that I crowdfunded and published; called Onyfir.
