In this exhibition, each painting is a fragment. Within each painting there are words distorted by the paint. Each painting is like a hole in the wall. Through it you can see the magma of a core, but only a little bit at once.
Painting and poetry both possess an ambiguous quality ideal for addressing personal matters without oversharing.
I continue to be obsessed with the landscape of faces, how light shapes them, how likeness can be found not only in the main features but in every slope and hill of a face.
